"Egyptian Computer Mouse"
2nd century. BCE
Late Ptolemaic hardware era
0.2 cubit ~ silver, copper, ferrite, gutta percha, woven reed insulation

Although the early Egyptian mouse [] of the "red fruit" [] manufacturing tribe during the Pharaonic era had but a single button, the later, more complex mice produced by the VerySmall/NotHard workshops of Ra-d'mond had two, although the advantage of the latter over the former is not clear. Subsequent dynasties produced the optical mouse, [ ] which was considered to be a superior way of communicating with the gods.
